Color palette for upcoming blog train

Just in time for Valentines and other celebrations of the heart, the upcoming blog train at Pixel Scrapper will feature a color palette of reds and pinks and purple and green (Oh My!) and will offer designs from many different designers, with different design styles…and it’s all FREE.  Check back on February 1st for my contribution.  Don’t be discouraged if I have to post a few days late this time due to being away from home, but it will be worth the wait!  Here’s the pretty color scheme.color pallette-Feb

The Best is Yet to Be layout

Today I thought I would make a quick layout using the kit The Best is Yet to Be that I designed for the Pixel Scrapper January BlogTrain.  I used many pieces of this free kit offered below and kept the theme of the kit–that of a new year offering promise of better things to come.  You can grab the free kit below and lots more using this same color palette and theme at Pixel SThe-best-is-yet-to-becrapper.

I have had several questions and messages about how to leave a comment to me.  You can leave a comment/reply at the bottom of the post.  I only ask for your name and email address as a very basic registration to my site (to avoid computerized spam). I ABSOLUTELY do not share your information with anyone.

Freebies! Freebies! Freebies!

Are you still recovering from Digital Scrapbooking Day?  I am!  I still have large folders of freebies that I need to unzip and “file” where I can find them. I collected goodies from at least 5 Facebook or blog hops and numerous other sources.  Hope you did too.

In case you are still looking for some freebies, these are some still active as of today.

Halloween Facebook  Hop from Digital Scrapbooking Studio  offering Halloween goodies from about 25 designers at “the Studio”.

Another one still active is the Digiscrap Parade offering parts of a large kit titled “Our Life” available from even more designers.

Some of the others I was able to download during DSD are already no longer available, so HURRY!

And of course don’t forget to get all the parts of the Vintage themed blog train offered by Pixel Scrapper.  A list of participants is given below.  These will be active during November.

PS  You can always check  Craft Crave.com daily and detect if there are freebies being offered.

Some freebies coming soon…

Hello again!  I know it’s been a long time since I posted something on my blog.  Well, you know, life has just gotten in the way!  After my awful illness in March, I have had to change my focus from working with other designers as a CT and sticking to their time lines and deadlines to something less stressful.  I really miss the creative team feedback and encouragement but I now have to be much more flexible so I can do my scrapbooking as a have time and feel like it.

I have also begun to try some designing, although I still have lots to learn.  I find I can do that as a I have time and don’t feel any stress with that.  It’s been fun… and coming November 1st, I hope to participate in my very first blog train ever!!!  Come back and join me and lots of other ladies at Pixel Scrapper as we offer a large number of kits made with a specific color scheme.  The color scheme has many colors, so we will have a lot of different digital goodies that you can mix and match–and all for FREE!

Here is a preview of the color scheme for the Pixel Scrapper November blog train.
