I am the mother of two grown children and retired after a long career in healthcare. I have been married–to the same person–for over 40 years. We are enjoying our retirement together and traveling as much as we can.
I began scrapbooking after I retired in 2008. I have always loved photography and keeping photo albums, so scrapbooking was something that I knew I would enjoy. I started paper scrapping and collected quite a stash of paper and supplies. I even have an upstairs room just for crafting and scrapping. I got my first digital scrapbooking program–Photoshop Elements 8–in 2010 and began learning how to use the software. I discovered the whole new world of digital scrapbooking and photo enhancement!
In 2011, I took on the duties of a quality reviewer for digital scrapbooking products at theStudio, i.e. Digital Scrapbooking Studio. This may seem odd but during my working career, my last three years were spent as director of quality improvement, although that was an entirely different definition of quality. I continue on the Quality Control team at theStudio.
In March 2012, I was chosen to be on the Creative Team for digital designer Aimee Harrison and in June for Snips and Snails. I am starting this blog to help with the advertising and publicity for these two designers.
