Beach Layouts using Vintage Summer collab

T.G.I.F. and I can show you the beautiful new digital scrapbooking collection called Vintage Summer and two scrapbook pages I made using this collection.  This collection is by three of my most favorite designers, Aimee at Aimee Harrison Design Studios, Stephanne at Snips and Snails Designs and Christine at Digilicious Designs. Here’s the collection.  If you cliclk on the image, you can go to one of the stores where you can see it up close.

It can also be found at Digital Scrapbooking Studio store.

And here are two layout I made using this collection.  I just love the soft dreamy colors! The first is cute little Sarah on the beach during the recent family vacation in Florida.  The second is Kathryn and Michael kissing on the beach.  The sky in this photo is a beautiful backdrop for a special picture to remember. Both photos are by Kathryn, a.k.a. Dream Big Photography.

New layouts for you tomorrow

I didn’t have any new sneak peeks to show this week but I will have two new layouts tomorrow that are both beach themed. One is of my granddaughter on the beach looking so sweet! The other is of my daughter and her husband on the beach. Both were made with the digital scrapbooking kit called Vintage Summer–to be released tomorrow August 31. The kit and layouts are really pretty, be sure to check back.

Backyard BBQ

Good Sunday morning whereever you are.  This has been a beautiful summer day here in Georgia.  Later today we–or should I say my husband Joe– will be cooking ribs on the grill.  I thought I would post a layout I did recently called Backyard BBQ, made from a digital scrapbooking kit by the same name from Aimee Harrison and Snips and Snails. Most of these photos were taken at a Labor Day party in the past couple of years.  Always fun to have a group of friends for a party!

A Different Back to School look

School is Ghoul is a digital scrapbooking kit inspired by the hit show Monster High. And although this is a tweeny back to school kit, I used it for much younger sweet  little “monsters”.  Here’s the kit by Snips and Snails and Mari Koegelenburg, link to a store where it can be purchased, and my layouts made with this kit.

Sold at One Story Down and at the Sweet Shoppe.

My first layout features Sarah with her wild hair on a windy day.  She looks a little scary…

The second is William making faces at the camera while Kathryn takes pictures of him.  He is so cute!

This kit also includes a Build a Monster Doll with changeable outfits, hair, and accessories to create your own little ghoul.  I didn’t use them in my layouts, but may have to play with them later.

Summers in Sconset new kit and layouts today

Another beautiful new digital scrapbooking kit and collection today called Summers in Sconset.  This is a kit designed by Aimee Harrison remembering growing up and spending summers on Nantucket Island.  Here’s how Aimee describes this: “Siasconset is a small village on the east side of Nantucket Island that is just so quaint and beautiful. Almost every home on Nantucket is gray shingled and white trimmed. And in Sconset there are just loads and loads of flowers – mostly roses – that hang all over the houses. It’s gorgeous.”  Sounds lovely.  I have never been to Nantucket, but love this look.  Here’s a look at the kit and the two layout–very different that I made with it.

This kit can be found at Digital Scrapbooking Studio.

First layout I made with this kit features a photo Kathryn took on their vacation this summer.  Sarah and William with the ocean behind them is very soothing.  In this layout, I was going for that Nantucket look with the grays and roses.

The second layout is a fanciful layout featuring some beautiful roses we saw growing next to the drive thru at our dry cleaners.  I don’t know how such beautiful roses grow in about a 24 x 24 inch area of soil. The bush was full of pink roses that were each about 4-5 inches across.

Tomorrow I will post two more layout I made this week for another designer.

Monday Sneak Peek

Good Monday Morning!   I can say that because I am retired and don’t have to go to work anymore. Don’t hate me for that. LOL  I wanted to show everyone a new kit called Summers in Sconset that Aimee Harrison will release this week on Friday.  I have made two pretty layouts using this collection and will post those here and other places on Friday.  Here’s the sneak peek.

New kit today–Soiree Take a look!

Well it’s finally Friday and I can post the new kit Soiree and layouts for you to see.  This digital scrapbooking collection is a collaborative from Aimee Harrison and Nibble Scribbles Designs.  Very good for party-themed layouts.  Here’s the collection and you can link to Digital Scrapbooking Studio by clicking on the image.

and here’s the layouts I made.  One is of my friends at our Mardi Gras party in their feathered masks and the next one is of sweet Sarah in her Mardi Gras beads-2011.

Wednesday hump day…looking forward to Friday!

Well, Wednesday is not really hump day any longer! Since I retired Wednesday is just another day in the week. But I am looking forward to Friday because that is when I can post my latest scrapbook layouts using the new kit called Soiree by Aimee Harrison and Nibble Scribbles. I have done two layouts using different parts of the kit so they look entirely different. Can’t wait to show them on Friday! Come back and see them then.

Another layout using Blueberry Pickin and Sneak Peek

Today I am posting another layout I did using the Blueberry Pickin collection by Aimee Harrison.  This one is of William picking blueberries.  He is so cute in his little straw hat. The layouts are by Donna but the photos were all taken by Kathryn, a.k.a. Dream Big Photography.

William was serious about picking blueberries and did a great job!

Here is a Sneak Peek of a new kit from Aimee Harrison available new week.
